Summary[edit]
DescriptionRomanic popular shires.jpg |
English: The « popular romanic shires » between North sea and Black sea, data from Alexandru Avram, Mircea Babeş, Lucian Badea, Mircea Petrescu-Dîmboviţa, Alexandru Vulpe (dir.), Istoria românilor : moştenirea timpurilor îndepărtate (« History of Romanians: the legacy of ancient times ») vol.1, éd. Enciclopedică, Bucharest 2001 (ISBN 973-45-0382-0) and Neagu Djuvara, O scurtă istorie ilustrată a românilor (« A short illustrated history of Romanians »), Humanitas, Bucharest 2014 (ISBN 978-97-3503-9929), drawn by Trecătorul răcit. This historical map replaces another previous map on the same subject, and according with the same books, drawn on paper and partly manually by Spiridon Ion Cepleanu, scanned and uploaded without sufficient details, and deleted for this reason. This map shows the "popular romanic shires" ("Romaniile populare") in a larger context than the history of the Vlachs and Romanians: that of the late Roman Empire. |
