Corinthian helmet and hoplite skull on display

A Corinthian helmet with its associated skull is on display at the Royal Ontario Museum. It is thought to be from a Greek hoplite who perished at the Battle of Marathon. At the battle in 490 BCE the Greeks decisively defeated the Persians.
