Happy New Year from Barbados!

It's 18:20 local here in Barbados and I'm blogging from the beach. Just about to sit down for an all-inclusive gala. Looks like they are putting on a nice spread at the resort. My son also gets to celebrate his birthday.

All the best to everyone out there for 2010!

Thanks Lakotahope. It's our last day here in paradise.

Now comes the fun part. Trying to get home on stand by priority.

Spent a couple 'old years nights' down there, what I always remember is that everyone shook your hand and said 'All the best' at midnight. I always thought that was very nice. Bajans are such warm people.

F/O Tim. Yes, all the best in 2010. Doug

John. You're right about the Bajans. I think they are the nicest of any Caribbean island.

Just checking flight loads. The first flight out of BGI is showing 10 open seats. There's 5 "cons" ahead of us so the math looks good for a family of five.

I see it's -17 C in YYZ. It's going to be a long cold walk to the car. Now if I just remember where I parked it.
